tricks.
Over the years, I have received many
tips and I have come up with a few tricks
myself. I have taken my list of hundreds
and narrowed it down to 10 that I feel are
simple, effective, easy to implement and
best suited for healthy and natural weight
loss. And for those of you that have
achieved your target weight, this
information will help keep you there.
These tips and tricks are
very basic and should not be considered a
'total' weight loss or fitness program. They
are just safe and healthy ideas to use and live
by.

Here are the first five
weight loss tips and tricks
1- Stay away from
white carbs
If your objective is weight loss... stay away
from this villain. Focus on whole wheat.
Otherwise, you will be looking at weight gain.
Most products in the market that are labeled
'whole wheat' are just white flour with a
little whole wheat thrown back into the mix.
look at the ingredient label and make sure it
lists "whole wheat grain" as the first
ingredient.
2- Grocery Stores
and empty stomachs don't mix
Before you leave for the gorcery store, make
sure to either eat one of your meals or consume
a good healthy snack. Not only will you feel
good about yourself and have some great energy,
you will not be tempted to buy everything in
sight and you will certainly not be tempted to
buy 'junk'.
3- Invest in some
good plastic or glass
If you or someone in your household cooks for
more than one person or the family, try and
store the leftovers in individual serving size
containers. Eating is all about portion control
and a huge container of leftover potato salad
is a disaster waiting to happen to your weight
loss efforts.
4- Drink, drink and
drink
Water that this. I can write a whole article on
the benefits of water so just know that this is
one of the most important tips on this page. It
helps with digestion. When you drink water with
your meal, it will help you get full faster
which means you will eat less which means you
will not pack on more weight. Water helps
cleanse many of your vital organs and it even
has been shown to help with your skin and
complextion.
5- Remember, the
elevator is always broken
Physical activity is not the exclusive property
of your local gym. We are surrounded by
something I like to call "laziness inhibitors".
If you are only going up or down a couple
floors, stay away from the elevator or
escalotor and walk. Don't spend 20 minutes in
your car circling the mall parking lot looking
for the closest door to the entrance. Park at
the first spot you see, even if it is far, and
walk.
