Health and Nutrition
Most of the information I provide in this
article comes (at least in part) from
firsthand experience. There was a point in
my life where my health was at risk
and I was
waging my own personal battle against
obesity. It was between the ages of 8
and 15. I was not educated
about proper nutrition, so I would eat
pretty much whatever I wanted. Though this
was true, I didn't gorge myself like
most people would think considering the
state of health I was in. I just made
poor (uneducated) choices. My
hope is that by sharing some of my
personal experiences and the knowledge I
have gained from getting certified
as a personal trainer, I will be able to
help people get more serious about their
health and nutrition.

Secret Fat Loss
Secret
and learn from a Doctor who has extensively
researched and had success in treating
obesity
I firmly believe that lack of
proper health education is the biggest factor
in why obesity is on the rise in the US and why
so many lives are at risk. I have
worked with many
obese people. Most do not poses the
stereotypical qualities of an extremely
overweight person: lazy,
eats truck
loads of food, weak minded etc.
Actually, I notice the opposite.
Many people are so fed up with the
way they feel and the poor
condition of their health, that they are
willing to put themselves through very
extreme work outs, diets, treatments, take
pills, and even surgery. From my
experience, it is 100% lack of health
education.
The media is
so ready to latch
on to and promote the latest fad diet, skinny
model, surgical procedure, fat free food,
surgar free food, no carb food etc. None
of these things focus on health or proper
nutrition and with many of them, there is
more risk involved than there is benefit! It
confuses everyone including
children!
With the information-age here
and the plethora of websites that provide heath
and nutrition information, all
the necessary information we need to educate
ourselves is right at our finger tips. But, in
reality, I feel the internet
is the
biggest culprit of providing inaccurate
information. Too many people are
taking way too much risk with their
health because of bad information they
are finding on the
internet.
Let's face it,
with little to no money and some basic
computer knowledge, anyone can throw up a
website and pose as a specialist and
promote whatever
the heck they want. There is not enough
manpower to regulate everything online. This
can really lead people
astray and
it can put a lot of people at
risk.
When someone sets out to
combat obesity and they really set their mind
to it, if they are working with information
that is
not accurate, all their will power, efforts,
time and money could be wasted. This
perpetuates the cycle! They
try so hard,
stick to the plan, and when they fail, they
blame themselves. They feel that obesity
is just something that
they are
stuck with. In actuality, all they
need is to work with the right
information and they can truly improve
their health, nutrition, and
beat obesity once and for all!
The facts are the facts and
science is science. It is clear why the
media and companies are so
quick to
find and promote the next best thing…
$money$. Proper education to inform
people that they don’t need all
the supplements, shakes,
surgeries, and vibrating ab belts to stay
healthy, does not help their profit
margins or advertising
revenue.
They know it, I know it and
now you know it; all you need is good
quality food, activity and proper knowledge on
how to put it all together for your
health.
Good health and proper
nutrition are very obtainable with some basic
knowledge. Stop putting your life at risk and
invest in yourself and in obtaining some of
that knowledge. In many cases, the information
is practically FREE. And as we know, free
has very weak profit margins.
So, because of
this, we must realize that we will constantly
be bombarded with the next new diet pill,
shake, weight loss gadget, and exercise
machine.
To really make a stand
against obesity, it is up to us to educate
ourselves on the facts and we will be able to
filter out all of the junk that is thrown at us
each and every day.
